"What I Know for Sure... lessons learned from quilting"
This one hour lecture will include a trunk show of Cindy Lammon’s quilts over the years including the quilts from her book "Gathered From the Garden". She will discuss her journey as a quilter and how she went from "Mom" to published author. She will also discuss how to get inspiration and be more creative, and random techniques to make your quilting more fun and enjoyable.

About the Speaker
Cindy Lammon has been quilting for 27 years and teaching for over 15 years. She loves teaching beginners and has taught
beginning piecing, appliqué, and machine quilting. Cindy has been designing patterns for quilt shops for about 6 years and recently self-published her first line of patterns. Cindy’s first book titled "Gathered From The Garden,” will be available in June '08 (published by Martingale Publishing). "Beginner Freezer Paper Appliqué"
This two hour workshop will cover hand appliqué using freezer paper and a needle turn technique. Participants will receive a kit with all supplies needed to make a simple block that could be turned into a pillow or wall hanging.
